Stop random sketching. Start a structured
system of short, focused workouts that
make your progress visible.
You’ve always loved drawing but something stopped you and you miss it.
You spend more time looking for reference and watching videos instead of drawing.
When you draw you don’t feel like you’re making any progress.
You don’t know what to focus on (anatomy? perspective? gesture?).
Recognise any of these:
Practice like an athlete, improve like an artist.
For a long time, drawing left me frustrated. I loved it, but I couldn’t draw what I imagined.
Then I realized something at the gym: failing reps never bothered me, because I focused on the process, not the result.
So I applied the same mindset to drawing, short, structured “workouts,” lowering the bar, allowing mistakes. Backed by simple psychology fundamentals on how we actually learn, the joy came back, and my progress accelerated.
That’s the system behind this course: simple, repeatable exercises that turn frustration into visible growth & fun.
Progress becomes visible and motivating.
Your sketchbook turns into proof of growth, not random doodles.
You build confidence and consistency.
You have fun (even when making mistakes).
What happens when you practice with structure.

We’ll cover the basics of form, perspective, composition, character design, and ideation. You’ll apply all of these fundamentals in the final assignment by creating your own illustration with figures in space.
You don’t need prior experience, but if technical drawing is new to you, I recommend starting with the Constructive Drawing Workout. It’s a great warm-up and gives you a feel for my teaching style.
-
Most lessons take around 40 to 50 minutes, including the video. The final assignment is split into two sessions of about an hour each.
In total, the course takes roughly 20 hours to complete. I recommend spreading it over one or two weeks to let it sink in and stick.
-
It’s normal for constructive drawing to feel a bit technical at first. I felt the same way. But just like you learned to speak your native language, you can also learn to draw with a structured mindset. If this is new to you, start with the beginners course: Constructive Drawing Workout.

You can use whatever tools you prefer, but I recommend a sketchbook and a set of ballpoint pens. There’s a full lesson in the course with more tips on materials.
